Curtis May

Curtis May is President anBRO. MAY PIC FOR WEBSITEd co-founder of Our Father’s Family Keeper Ministries.  Since graduating from high school, Curtis has embarked on a lifelong quest of service to his fellowman. He joined the United States Air Force, retiring in September 1981 after 20 years of service.

While serving in the U.S. Air Force, Curtis worked part-time in various hospitality/service jobs in his off duty time; these jobs including work as a taxi driver, waiter, banquet manager, postal service worker and security guard.  Shortly after retiring from the Air Force, he started working with the U.S. Treasury Department as a Collection Officer for the Internal Revenue Service.  Curtis retired from the IRS in February of 2010 after 26 years of faithful service.

Curtis has always been a lover of the outdoors. As a young man growing up on a farm in Southwest Michigan, he enjoyed roaming through the woods and fishing in the St. Joseph River that ran through the woods of the farm next door.  Gardening is another of his passions; he enjoys planting and watching plants develop. The produce from his garden is donated to the members of his church and others in the immediate community.

Curtis brings to the corporation a wealth of experience relative to service to the community in the area of warm hospitality.  He enjoys all areas of outdoors; camping and cutting hiking trails through the family-owned woods.  He also maintains the family’s own home fellowship property and oversees set-up of tables and party room for upcoming functions, as well as preparing the required foods and assembling equipment, as necessary.
