Shatina Brunty

Welcome New Board Member!

Service Dates: December, 2021 – present

Shatina Brunty is a preschool teacher whose family lives in Cassopolis, Michigan. A proud Ranger alumna, she graduated from Cassopolis High School in 2012 and teaches for the Great Start Readiness Program at the local elementary school in Cassopolis. She acquired her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification in April 2019 and has always had a passion for helping others and serving the community however she can.

A mother of two, she has consistently volunteered in her church, serving the youth programs, and is very active with her daughter Kendall’s school life. When she is not teaching, Shatina keeps busy with her daughter’s multiple extracurricular activities such as The Village 4-H Club, dance classes, and Girl Scouts. Her infant son, Kaid, also keeps her and his stay-at-home dad plenty occupied. To balance the demands of profession and motherhood, she likes to relax by going shopping, reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending time at the beach with family and friends.
